Van Service

Taxis at the airport are available all day even late at night until last flight arrives. As an option, Van service can be arranged locally. However, with people arriving all day long, scheduling of van service would be difficult. As information service, I will maintain a list of registrants who submit their names indicating interest in sharing a car or a van for the transfer from Veracruz airport to Xalapa. Registrants will be listed according to type of transportation requested & date/time of arrival. Additionally, you may want to submit your info for departures. The list will be password-protected. I will send password upon receipt of your entry to the list.

Registrants in the list are responsible for setting up a group to share a van. After contacting interested individuals, only one in the group should make the reservation by writing an email to:

You can also contact them by phone at 228-812-3777 (office hours, 9-2 pm, 4-8 pm).

I have contacted  the service provider "Centro de Reservaciones de Xalapa" 

They guarantee these prices for ABLS attendees in August:

Car for up to 3 people $ 1950

Van for up to 8 people $ 2370

Van for up to 11 people $ 2450

(as reference, a taxi from the airport to Xalapa is about $700)

Be advised that you might be asked to pay directly to the driver in cash.

I can help paying a deposit to secure your reservation, if required by provider. Let me know.
